Clyde RIBS Quality Policy "The attainment of customer satisfaction by providing a high quality, cost effective, practical and regulatory compliant product , whilst fulfilling the customers needs and specification"
The quality policy is not only associated to the production of new craft but also the refit and repairs of existing craft.
All craft are build to the latest ISO standards in accordance with the RCD (Recreational Craft Directive), ensuring that Clyde RIBS fulfil their requirements and in turn giving piece of mind to our customers that their new vessel is fully compliant and certified accordingly.
Clyde RIBS only use the best quality materials which are suitable for a marine environment in their product. We will not compromise the quality of the final product through the use of inferior grade materials, neither will we cut corners in an attempt to save cost by using less material. Glass fibre matting and resins are all Lloyds approved or equivalent and the Hypalon tubes are manufactured by a specialist company using the best quality material.
Clyde RIBS commitment to quality is further confirmed by our intention to be a LRQA ( Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) ISO 9001:2000 certified company by early 2009.
Commercial Craft
Using our commercial experience we can supply craft coded in accordance with the latest MCA requirements for vessels up to 24m in length.
Coding equipment can be supplied by the customer OR supplied by Clyde RIBS.
Order Process
Clyde RIBS appreciate that there is a big commitment in ordering a new boat, and for most people it will be the second biggest investment next to their home.
As such we would encourage you to come and visit us, see what we do and how we do it and then when you order, make regular visits during the building and fitting out of the boat. This will give you the confidence of knowing what structure is under the deck and how everything fits together. It also allows some customization of the layout and positioning of seats and equipment i.e. left hand drive or right hand drive! Or you may prefer the seats closer to the console or further away to give more room etc. We would be happy to incorporate minor changes (provided there are no implications) so that you get the boat which you want and its comfortable to operate.
